Chef In Residence: PRU x L’abeille
Michelin-starred chef Mitsunobu Nagae of L’abeille welcomes acclaimed chef Jimmy Ophorst of PRU to his Tribeca restaurant for an exclusive two-night collaboration dinner, bringing the best of Phuket to New York City this October.
For the eighth edition of l’abeille’s chef in residence dinner series, Michelin-starred chef Mitsunobu Nagae welcomes acclaimed chef Jimmy Ophorst of PRU to his Tribeca restaurant for an exclusive two-night dinner, bringing the best of Phuket to New York City. PRU is the only MIchelin starred restaurant in Phuket, and was also recognized for its sustainability efforts with a Michelin green star, known for its “community-to-fork” dining experience. Combining the seafood and Thai flavors that PRU is known for with the French and Japanese inspired dishes from chef Mitsu, the menu for the night will include dishes like jumbo oyster, beef consommé and bone marrow; dungeness crab and green curry; squid and blue cheese; and a durian and caviar dish. The dishes will be a mix of l’abeille and PRU staples, along with collaborative dishes made by chefs Mitsu and Jimmy together. The series will take place on Tuesday, October 1st and Wednesday, October 2nd, welcome diners to have the best of Thailand in the heart of the city.
